A Tropical Masterpiece: Our Coral Sea-Inspired Lagoon
Creating a slice of the Coral Sea was no small feat it took over 68 skilled professionals to bring this vision to life. The result? A stunning tropical lagoon designed to mimic the natural conditions of one of the most biodiverse marine environments on Earth.
Engineering Excellence
- Unique Architecture: The centrepiece is a wood-beamed structure with an opening roof, allowing natural sunlight to flood the lagoon and support the health of its inhabitants.
- Massive Scale: Over 60 tonnes of natural substrate were carefully placed to replicate authentic reef conditions.
- Advanced Life Support System (LSS):
- Plumbing: 12 km of pipes ensure seamless water circulation.
- Flow Rate: 5 high-capacity pumps recirculate 940,000 liters per hour, achieving a water turnover rate of 18 times per day.
- This guarantees pristine water quality and a stable environment for marine life.
