A Safe & Immersive Marine Encounter

Australia is home to some of the world’s most unique coastal ecosystems,  and Irukandji gives international students a chance to experience them in a way that’s safe, ethical and incredibly interactive. With guidance from our passionate aquarists, students discover the behaviours, textures and movements of iconic marine animals up close.

Students will:

Optional Add-On Adventures

Enhance your program with immersive upgrade options that take learning even deeper. These add-ons give international students a richer, more hands-on understanding of Australia’s marine world, building confidence, curiosity and unforgettable memories.

Invite your students to put on a wetsuit and step into our lagoons for an immersive, hands-on encounter. This guided experience offers direct interaction with sharks and rays while exploring the differences between tropical and temperate habitats.

Students will:

  • Feed and observe friendly marine animals
  • Discover behaviours and adaptations up close
  • Build confidence in a supported, supervised environment

Perfect for first-time snorkellers or students not ready for open-water conditions. Our heated indoor tropical lagoon provides a safe, controlled space where groups can swim alongside incredible marine species, guided by one of our experienced aquarists.

Make the experience even more memorable. Teachers can download and distribute Irukandji participation certificates,  a wonderful keepsake for international students to take home.
