History of Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters
Leadership Behind the Mission
Our board may be small, but our impact is mighty. Leading the team is Managing Director Ryan Pereira, a marine biology and environmental science specialist whose passion drives our scientific and conservation efforts. Alongside him is his wife Lia Pereira, Marketing Manager and former zookeeper whose years in wildlife care bring dedication and heart to our work. Together, the pair form a dynamic, action-oriented leadership team ready to deliver hands-on conservation, world-class marine experiences and community engagement.
