Educational Resources
Inspiring Students & Supporting Educators
We’ve created a rich range of resources specifically for teachers and classes of all ages to inspire young minds and enhance your visit. Our school excursions give students a unique chance to meet aquatic creatures in waist-deep water, feed sharks and rays, and engage in guided learning that links directly to your curriculum. Whether you’re covering marine biology, environmental science or sustainability, our team can tailor the experience to your topic.
At Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters, we challenge the myths surrounding sharks and rays. These creatures aren’t monsters of the deep—they’re gentle, fascinating and vital to healthy ocean systems. When students step into their world, they walk away with a greater appreciation for these species and a deeper respect for our marine environment.
